The ORIGIN consortium wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. This statement explains how accessible the website is, what we are still working on and how to contact us if you find a barrier.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Compliance status
The website has not yet been audited by an independent expert. Based on our own checks during development, we believe it is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA: most content meets the standard, with the exceptions listed below.
What we have done
- The pages have a clear heading structure and can be used with a keyboard, with a visible highlight on the element in focus.
- Text and interface colours were chosen to meet the WCAG contrast requirements.
- Images that convey information have text alternatives.
- Layouts adapt to small screens and to browser zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Filters, tabs and carousels work with a keyboard and a screen reader, and carousels never move on their own.
- Form fields have visible labels.
Known limitations
- The background video at the top of the home page starts automatically and cannot yet be paused. We plan to add a pause button.
- Some documents, such as PDF deliverables and publications, may not be fully accessible. If you need a document in another format, please ask us.
- The partner map on the About page is visual; the same information about each partner is available as text in the partner cards.
Feedback and contact
If you find a barrier on this website, or need information in a different format, please write to info@origin-ai.eu. Tell us the address of the page and what the problem is. We aim to reply within 10 working days.
